Rushden’s Community Café
The Cornerfield Café is a safe welcoming venue for any and all from the wider community to come and experience a friendly all inclusive cafe service. The café is headed up by our staff and supported by a team of volunteers who are always available to talk and encourage those who just drop in.
We serve hot bacon rolls, cooked breakfast, toast with jams, teas and coffees all at incredibly low prices.
A range of support is available at the Café including just being able to sit down and chat with someone. Simply come and meet with one of our staff at the Café and they can tell you how we can assist. Our staff can advise you on how to access the various support services we offer.

Our ability to help people is down to the generosity of our fabulous volunteers and the supply of regularly donated food from local individuals and organisations. If you would like to help local people by simply serving them a hot meal and drink, or being a listening ear then we are waiting to hear from you. All training is provided. Take a look at our volunteering and job roles on offer.
Alternatively you might like to donate some food to the café. You can download a list of regularly needed items below. Or make a donation so we can stock up our supplies.
Our goal is to support and reach those who feel isolated from friends, community or society and provide a place for positive engagement. Many of our customers access a range of our services such as the Sanctuary Night Shelter. Tea, coffee and biscuits along with a friendly chat and a listening ear are the base line services we offer.
The name “Cornerfield” comes from the concept in the old testament when farmers were encouraged to leave the corners of their fields for the poor and landless to glean a harvest and a living. We want the Cornerfield Cafe to be an expression of God’s love and provision to all who feel they need help and support.
